“There has been a lot of news about a recent prank pulled on the Hollywood Sign. I want to inform you all that it is a fake. The General Service Officers who watch and protect the Sign 24 -7, have confirmed that nothing has happened to the Sign. By reviewing the footage, they noticed that the Sign is flat where as the actual Sign is made of corrugated steel. Also, the angle which the girls take off from the Sign is a 40 degree drop which would be impossible to run on, especially in heels. It saddens me that an up and coming celebrity would choose to deface the symbol which means so much to all of us in Hollywood. It encourages her fans to commit illegal acts and pranks on the Sign costing the city and its tax payers money.

I would like to remind you that access to the Sign is restricted and trespassing is illegal. It is for your safety, there are rattlesnakes, scorpions, and other dangerous animals as well as a steep drop and poor footing. The Hollywood Sign is meant to be a symbol of the hopes and dreams of Hollywood. Unfortunately, someone who currently is having all her dreams come true decided to pull a tasteless prank on a symbol that is meant to inspire her. If she would like to apologize to the Sign, donations can be made to the Hollywood Sign Trust for the upkeep and painting of the Sign.”

“The Associated Press is reporting Charlie Sheen was arrested Christmas morning on charges of domestic violence in Aspen, Colorado. The actor was released after posting $8,500.00 bond Friday afternoon. Sheen was arrested on two felony charges, one for second degree assault and one for menacing, as well as a lesser charge of criminal mischief. Authorities would not reveal the name of the alleged victim, which may be Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller. Sheen’s publicist released a statement urging that people shouldn’t “jump to any conclusion” about the incident and that “appearance and reality can be as different as night and day.”

Charlie and Brooke Mueller were married on May 30th, 2008 and the couple just had twin boys on March 14th, 2009. Charlie Sheen was previously married to actress Denise Richards, the pair were married from 2002 to 2006 and have two daughters.”

“UPDATE — According to Tiger’s rep, he was in a “minor” accident, “admitted, treated and released today in good condition.”

Tiger Woods is in “serious” condition after being involved in a single car crash near his home in Florida early this morning.

The crash occurred at 2:20 AM in Windermere. He was taken to Health Central Hospital with facial lacerations.

Woods struck a fire hydrant and then a tree on a neighbor’s property. The fire hydrant is reportedly less than 100 feet from his driveway.

Police say alcohol was not a factor. There were no signs of alcohol on the scene. We’re told the police have yet to speak to Tiger.

As we first reported, Tiger had a conversation with a friend yesterday, in which he said his wife had confronted him over reports he was involved with another woman … and that his wife scratched his face up during the argument. Tiger told the friend he then left the house, started driving off and his wife then came out with a golf club, striking the vehicle. Tiger then became distracted and hit the hydrant and then a nearby tree.”
